SONOSCAN, one of the best diagnostic chains in West Bengal, started its journey with a mission to provide quality healthcare at an affordable cost for society. With this mission & vision, it initiated the state-of-the-art diagnostic & multispecialty services in the year 1990 at Malda by deploying a full-time, dedicated, highly qualified panel of reputed radiologists & pathologists, as well as highly skilled and well-experienced paramedics from reputed institutions across the country to fulfill the commitment SONOSCAN wants to deliver.

We sincerely believed that an Endeavour like this would be successful only when we consistently focus on delivering our objective, "Quality healthcare at an affordable cost". Today, Sonoscan treats more than one lakh patients per month. It is the Single Largest Stand-alone Diagnostic Service Provider in the Eastern zone, which has the highest number of patients per month, because of our motto, which we follow and believe in.

With the continuous growth of medical demand, our thirst to provide affordable and excellent medical support helped us start inpatient admissions for Neurosurgery, Critical care and Dialysis in 2007 and later for General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT & Orthopaedic Surgery in 2018.

To serve our patients better, we started the concept of doorstep service by extending our branch in the neighboring area of Balurghat in 2008, which provides diagnostic services similar to our Kolkata centre.

To enhance our dedicated service, we brought in more employment for the people of this region by collaborating with professional expert teams and started our paramedical technician courses at Malda under the banner of SONOSCAN Educational Institute, affiliated with the State Medical Faculty, Govt of West Bengal.

In addition, in 2008, to provide our services to needy patients, Sonoscan started the CT Scan unit at Malda Medical College under the PPP Model with the Govt of West Bengal. Today, this tie-up is catering to innumerable patients coming for treatments from neighboring states and countries.

With a legacy to look up to and always pioneering in upgrading our expertise in medical services, SONOSCAN embarked on its new journey in Kolkata in 2016, establishing state-of-the-art integrated hi-tech infrastructure with the region’s renowned dedicated team of experienced and highly qualified pathologists, radiologists, paramedics and various other specialists. Along with multispecialty outdoor services, we are continuing to work towards the same mission - delivering value-added healthcare services at an affordable cost for all patients without compromising quality.
